Our Story

This is a company firmly rooted in the value of quality relationships, and it began by building business out of friendships. Vince Steele started Majestic Floors in 1985, organizing it from a close-knit group of friends he made while earning his degree at UC Davis. Over the years, Rick Alspaw and Rob Vieira endured, and together the three of them paved the path that has made Majestic Floors into one of the most respected Union Floorcovering Dealers in the Bay Area, developing an evolving team of craftsman responsible for the Bay Area’s best commercial flooring installations in countless landmarks and iconic buildings.

That guiding philosophy continues today through Vince’s sons, Austin and Colten Steele, who prioritize growing that legacy by building friendships out of business. At Majestic, we are committed to a long-term vision, one where attentive connection to our clients and their needs forms the core of our value structure. That is what has kept so many with us since our inception, and it is what allows us to continue to make new friends.  

We are proud of our history, but we love being a part of a constant evolution in this ever-changing business. No template or mold takes hold here, and we are constantly looking for ways to perfect our methods and work. The story continues, and we look forward to your being a part of it.
